Michelle Shannon a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (#71861) licensed by the state of Texas to practice under the supervision of Dr. Cassie Rushing, LPC-S. She holds a graduate degree in Counseling from Amberton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Texas at Dallas.
Michelle’s therapeutic approach is integrative with a Cognitive Behavioral foundation woven with Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Family Systems Therapies.
She believes whatever happens in life, each person has a choice to make the most of it. Support can be invaluable for gaining healthy insight into your situation, developing coping skills, processing thoughts and feelings, understanding change process, build empowering self-confidence, and utilize problem-solving strategies to create possibilities for making choices that work for you .
